We utilize professional HD video drone technology. We fly DJI drones and follow all FAA drone operator regulations and laws. In addition we hold FAA certifications in additional drone training programs. This includes a training course in the "special airspace" over Destin and Okaloosa County.
Operating a drone for aerial video and drone photography on the Emerald Coast presents unique challenges. There are multiple small airfields, heavy military traffic, and civilian traffic. In fact, the airspace along the Emerald Coast is actually classified as having "Special" classifications by the FAA.
Without finding a drone video and drone photographer that is trained in this airspace you run the risk of hiring someone that may fly illegally. It is important to understand this and other nuances related to drone video and drone photography before utilizing such technology. Any one operating a drone without a license, failing to fly following regulations, or not following special notices by the FAA runs the risk of significant fines.
